A great day!

What a great day to praise the Lord. Another breath, means another opportunity to make today great. Today’s verse is something we can decide to do great. As we read the verse, notice the word love is agapao not agape, for God can only be agape. However, agapao is simply an action/ commitment of love, not to be confused with an emotional (storge) love as we have for others, which most of the time is a conditional love.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love (agapao) God, to them who are the called according to his purpose, ” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

God doesn’t want our emotions, because when we love emotionally we only love when it benefits us. God wants us to love agapao, unconditional, and not when it only benefits us. In other words, to be committed, and follow through with your actions. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Putting God first is the first step to true success, we can (agapao/commit) chase all the things in this world and when you achieved them you still feel empty at the end.

Prayer

Thank you for today Lord, help us reflect our lives, and what we are committed to that may not bring glory to you. Help us search our hearts and show us how to commit to your ways, that brings us an abundance of Life, Peace, Power, Love, and a sound mind. As we believe in you Jesus, You are our rock to thrive another day in this broken, but beautiful world. We trust and thank you for hearing our prayers and walking with us. In the name of Christ our Lord we pray! Amen
